Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data or an online identifier (Article 4 (1) of the GDPR).
We shall process your personal data on the basis of
Article 6 (1) (e) of the GDPR in conjunction with section 3 of the Federal Data Protection Act, if processing is necessary for the performance of a task assigned to us in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority (e.g. responding to contact requests).
To accredit for Preview Conference Sustaining Peace Amidst the Climate Crisis: The Role of Data Science, Technology & Innovation in Berlin, the collecting of personal data is necessary. The obligatory data are marked, other provision of personal data is optional. No special categories of personal data, such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life, sexual orientation, and genetic or biometric data are collected.
The information is used for participant administration and will be stored until six weeks after the end of the conference (19.06.2022) on secure EU servers.

The preview conference Sustaining Peace Amidst the Climate Crisis: The Role of Data Science, Technology & Innovation in Berlin will be streamed on the server of the Poolgroup agency and made accessible on the website [https://www.preview-conference-berlin.com]. All events will be recorded.
The webinars will not be streamed. However, all webinars will be recorded for the following purposes:
By participating in the conference series, you agree that sound and image recordings may be taken showing your participation in the webinar, chat or similar.
